AND HERE WE GO!

Thank you Su Ba!  I have wanted to start a blog for sometime now.  Every time I have wandered over to Word Press or Wix I end up struggling with the semantics of trying to set it all up, rather than just be able to start writing.

I went over to check out her blog and Lo and Behold, she was using Blogger which I had not heard of before.  And in 5 minutes I am up and running.  How Good is that?

Some of you will be coming from Permies where I have started a Forum for single women who want to live and garden or farm rurally. 

I Hope you visit and pull up a chair from time to time so we can chat together, solving those special Challenges indigenous to the growing of Nature and living rurally, as a single woman.  Sharing comfort, Joy and Laughter.

I just want to share two images today.  The differences between romantic dreams of living this life and what the realities often show up as, as we walk this Path.

The first image is the dream of what we hold in our Heart, of what we endeavor to achieve here on the land.

And although I do not have a tractor, this image best fits what can become a temporary reality in our day to day travels upon the soil. As they say "the best laid plans of mice and men" - LOL

The Vision:

My vision is that we form working friendships.  Helping each other with solutions to Challenges. Although we do not want to give too much power to a concept that we are different from men, our Challenges as woman ARE different.  This is not duality. We are women, we have the ability to Create life (children) that we can channel into becoming Mothers of Nature. We are Nurturers by Nature. We have Challenges with physical strength but so far, about 95% of the time for me.....using leverage has solved those Challenges. And finding and using tools that address that issue.  Learning the Art of leverage is our strength.....that can be used to solve these kinds of situations.
